Professor KazandjianÌýjoined Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ's faculty in 2008 teaching courses in cognitive psychology, perception, clinicalÌýneuropsychology, and neuroscience.ÌýSheÌýcompleted her doctorate in 2006 at the Neuropsychology subprogram at theÌýCity University of New YorkÌýat Queens College. ÌýShe is a licensed psychologist in New York and California, and registered as a psychologist in France, with an active practice in Paris.Ìý
Dr. Kazandjian'sÌýpersonalÌýexperiencesÌýwithÌýmoving between cultures (Armenian, Lebanese, American, and French) and locales has led to her clinical and research interests in bi/multilingualism, acculturation, andÌýtransculturalism in cognition. Her early research focused on the role of acculturation among immigrants on neuropsychological test performance. Her postdoctoral work looked into the role of reading direction on visual perception. ÌýRecently, she launched the Multicultural Neuropsychology Lab at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ with the goal of learning from the international and multi-cultural community inÌýParis and gaining greater insight in the role of culture on perception and cognition.Ìý
Kazandjian is an active member of the English-speaking professional community in Paris. ÌýShe is also a member of several professional neuropsychological organizations in France and the United States.
