Navigating French immigration requirements can be daunting, but we are here to help. Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ’s Student Immigration Services assist you with immigration, helping to make a potentially confusing process an orderly and productive one.Ìý

Necessary paperwork differs by student (see below). Be sure to stay abreast of what is required of you from the moment you receive your acceptance letter and throughout your time at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ.Ìý

French authorities are in charge of processing residency applications once they have been submitted to SIS. The SIS department has no control over the time it takes for those authorities to review and communicate with you and other Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ students.ÌýÌý

Therefore, it is imperative that you follow the necessary steps communicated to you by the SIS office at the earliest possible moment. You must respect immigration requirements to enroll and remain enrolled at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ. It is illegal to enter France under a tourist visa, or without a visa at all, with the intention of studying. Students living in France without the proper documents are subject to deportation.Ìý

New students

The Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ Admissions Counselor provides first-semester undergraduates, visiting students and graduate students with instructions and necessary documents to apply for a long-stay student visa. Once on campus, SIS will guide you through the process to complete the visa validation and to begin a residency extension when relevant. Read the procedures for new Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ students carefully to make sure that you can successfully enter and reside in France.Ìý

The Immigration Office of Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ hereby declines responsibility for consequences which could result from a NON EU student illegally entering into France without valid documents (visa, passport, orresidency card).Ìý

Returning students

All registered returning students must have a valid Titre de Séjour in order to study at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ. To keep your Titre de Séjour valid every year, make sure to follow the required steps andÌýprocedures for returning students.

Summer students

Some of our summer students need visas to join us in Paris. EU students and summer students from a list of specific countries do not require a visa. Have a look at the summer student immigration page to see if you are required to obtain a visa. The Summer Program Office at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ is available to assist all students from countries that require a visa to legally be in France to take summer classes.Ìý

Students under 18

Students who are under 18 and wish to take classes at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ need to follow the under-18 immigration procedure to enter France. Ìý
