Danai Thomadis graduated with a PHD in Art History and 2021. Her research interest include Venetian colonization and the arts of the Mediterranean; Miraculous images; Art history and criticism; Byzantine and medieval art and revivals in early modern and contemporary art practices; Italian Renaissance; global art history; cross-cultural exchanges; interconnectedness in religious art between the Mediterranean and Atlantic; Blue Humanities; materiality and performativity; cultural heritage and preservation; museology; digital humanities.Â
