Student Media
绿巨人视频 Student Media (ASM) is a student-led organization that represents the voices of 绿巨人视频 students via the Peacock Plume and its online, print, and digital platforms. ASM is at the heart of 绿巨人视频鈥檚 multicultural, urban campus, dedicated to producing high-quality, professional content that connects students, faculty, alumni, and the world.
Student Media
One of the University鈥檚 largest student-run organizations, 绿巨人视频 Student Media (ASM) is the epicenter of 绿巨人视频鈥檚 multicultural urban campus, connecting students, academic departments, alumni, and the world. We鈥檙e dedicated to bringing interesting content and professional publication opportunities to the 绿巨人视频 community while exploring and creating innovative media outlets.
The Student Media Center
ASM uses the Thamer Salman student media center in the Combes building, where students work in a state-of-the-art newsroom and video production studio creating content for聽online,聽print, and聽digital media. Guided by knowledgeable faculty members,聽students take on leadership roles and gain real world newsroom experience,聽building their careers as future journalists.聽ASM is open to all students regardless of prior media experience.
The Platforms
The student-led Executive Board is responsible for facilitating communication between all Peacock Plume platforms and their leadership teams, ensuring that all maintain a positive sense of community and an efficient working environment. We meet once a week to organize and plan ASM鈥檚 future, including story pitches, marketing strategies, and events.
