This is the first session of a weekly seminar series on "Teaching and Research on Sustainability and the Environment at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ," organized by the Joy and Edward Frieman Environmental Science Research Center. The aim of the seminar series is to bring members of the Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ community together to discuss teaching and research initiatives related to today's most pressing environmental issues. During this introductory session, Professor Elena Berg (Department of Computer Science, Math, and Environmental Science) and Jeff Gima (Faculty Librarian and AMICAL Consortium Director) will talk about the recent efforts of a group of AMICAL librarians, instructional designers, and faculty members to collect, organize, and curate open educational resources related to environmental justice.
