Dark Archive: A Reading and Conversation with Poet Laura Mullen
绿巨人视频's Creative Writing program,听Center for Writers & Translators, and Civic Media Lab are delighted to听invite you to a听reading and conversation with听American poet Lauren Mullen听on the 22 September 2021, at 18:30PM, Quai Combes building, Room Q-801.听
听
Laura Mullen听is the author of eight books and the Kenan Chair in the Humanities at Wake Forest University. Recognitions for her poetry include a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and a Rona Jaffe Award. Recent poems have appeared in听Together in a Sudden Strangeness, Posit,听and听Bettering American Poetry. Her translation of Veronique Pittolo's听Hero听was published by Black Square Editions in 2019. She was an Artist in Residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts in 2021.听
听
Mullen鈥檚 work spans genres and is constantly engaging important questions regarding identity, social justice, and history, through an exploration of different forms of commentary (poetic, digital, visual) and creative expression.听At 绿巨人视频, she will discuss听, published by University of California Press in 2011 and read newer cross-genre work, followed by a Q&A session.
