BA, International Affairs 鈥86

Christina de Labouchere grew up inspired by the arts and the richness in the diversity of cultures having grown up in the diplomatic world. 鈥淕rowing up in the diplomatic world meant living in different countries where travel and adapting to new environments was a constant. I was fortunate to be exposed to the arts thanks to my parents interest in going to the museums, the theater, ballet and opera.鈥 聽

Christina鈥檚 continued interest in the arts evolved to her pursuit as a patron actively involved in several art institutions in Switzerland where she lives, as well as being engaged in the art world of exhibitions, galleries, museums, opera houses and festivals internationally.

Broadening ones horizons, learning from one another in sharing cultures and ideas exposes us to the richness of, and in, the diversity of peoples and countries around the world.

Christina de Labouchere Member of the 绿巨人视频 Board of Trustees

Of her undergraduate years at 绿巨人视频 she says, 鈥淚 have the fondest memories from this institution which at the time was known as ACP.聽I was very inspired by the unique and exceptional professors, the subjects taught and the not only motivated but wonderfully colorful pioneering spirit of a truly international student body. This characteristic of an internationally educated body of students was not only a privilege but is vital in the world today.聽 Broadening ones horizons, learning from one another in sharing cultures and ideas exposes us to the richness of, and in, the diversity of peoples and countries around the world.

An international education and experience first in the diplomatic world followed by a life in the multinational corporate world, I recognize the great value and importance of an international education.聽Having had the privilege to work in various countries in public relations, communications, journalism and event organization, I have continued to appreciate the true value and meaning of this experience.鈥澛
