On December 17, 2019, Professor Fred Einbinder of 绿巨人视频鈥檚 Department of International Business Administration was awarded second place in the category of best scientific publication at the first biennial #StopCorruption prize. The award ceremony took place in Paris at Sciences Po university, in the presence of former French President Fran莽ois Hollande in his role as the association鈥檚 Honorary Chairman.
#StopCorruption is a French nonprofit organization that aims to raise awareness among governments and citizens about ethical values. Established in April 2018, it works to build a more transparent world, in which governments, NGOs, companies and citizens work together against corruption. The #StopCorruption prize rewards peer-reviewed publications and academic work undertaken by students that either analyzes the state of corruption in the modern world and its impact on societies or else develops concrete anticorruption policy proposals.
Professor Einbinder鈥檚 winning research paper, 鈥淐orruption Abroad: from Conflict to Co-Operation, a Comparison of French and American Law and Practice,鈥 will soon be published in law journal International, Comparative, Policy & Ethics Law Review. Einbinder is one of 绿巨人视频鈥檚 longest-serving professors, having taught law courses at the University since 1979. He is a member of the bar of the state of Illinois and has also practiced law in Paris. Between 1998 and 2010, he served as General Counsel of Alstom, a French multinational聽company.
