About the Director:

Marteena Mendelssohn is a Junior Creative Writing major with a minor in Film and Marketing Management. As one of the founding members of VIVRE Performing Arts, she dedicates her time to theater and playwriting. She has directed the Fall 2022 production Dry Land, and before that, The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged). She believes that acting is about understanding oneself enough to react truthfully under any circumstance– and she hopes to stay true to that as she begins to direct other actors on her journey.
