From April 2-3, Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ and the Center for Critical Democracy Studies will host the annual D.Rad research symposium meeting in Paris. D.Rad researchers from across the globe will gather at Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ during these two days for academic and administrative discussions relating to the research outputs of the D.Rad network.
As a part of this symposium, on Monday April 3 Dr. Jonathan Leader Maynard (Lecturer in International Politics, King's College London) will give a guest lecture to symposium members relating to his research on political extremism, violence, and political ideology. Jonathan will also discuss his role as Parliamentary Academic Fellow advising the International Affairs Unit of the UK Parliament on issues relating to International and National Security.
Jonathan's lecture will be held at Espace Canopy (19 rue Pajol, 75018), at 14h00, and will be followed by a discussion period with audience and symposium members.
Espace Canopy is the location of the D.Rad Exhibition "Complicating the Narrative: in a time of false Simplicity" which will coincide with the network symposium, and which will run from April 1-22.
