If this title rings a bell, you have probably heard about the recent scandal in Libya, where black african migrants are being sold as slaves. While slavery was abolished in 1848, there still exists a modern form of it, often referred to as human trafficking.
As a conclusion to the Black History Month, the Inspire Africa club invites you to a student-led debate to discuss the topics of slavery and human trafficking in Libya, starting from the sources of the phenomenon up until the recent endeavors.
