Please Join us for a lecture by Sarah Banet-Weiser, Director of USC's Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism, who will give a talk based on her current book in progress: "Networked Misogyny: Gender, Media, and Social Change."

Sarah Banet-Weiser is author of  (New York University Press, 2012) , (Duke University Press, 2007),  (University of California Press, 1999) and co-editor of (New York University Press), and , co-edited with Cynthia Chris and Anthony Freitas (New York University Press, 2007). Prof. Banet-Weiser's teaching and research interests include youth culture, consumer culture, citizenship and national identity, feminist theory, and race and the media.
