Greece is the main entry point for refugees trying to enter Europe from Northern Africa and the Middle East. The Greek island of Lesbos has been particularly hit by this wave of asylum seekers over the past year. In working with an NGO, interested students raise funds during the semester and provide needed items for refugees on the isle of Lesbos, where more than 218,000 refugees arrived in October 2015 according to UN data—the figure was the highest monthly total on record, and more than during the whole of 2014.

Last day to register/cancel: January 24
Late cancelation fee: €625
Payment for study trips must be made no later than February 1 for the Spring 2016 semester. Any concerns in this regard should be addressed to the Cultural Program & Student Accounting Services.
