We are happy to announce that as part of our ongoing infrastructure improvement efforts, we will be replacing and upgrading the WiFi system across all buildings on campus.
This enhancement aims to provide you with a faster, more reliable, and efficient wireless network experience.
Please note that Â̾ÞÈËÊÓƵ student residences are not concerned by this project, and the WiFi upgrade will only take place on campus.
We will carry out the replacement in various building, starting Monday, July 10, 8:30 AM and we are expected to finish by Tuesday, July 18 in the afternoon.
While we aim to make this transition as transparent as possible for users, please note that there may be minor disruptions in connectivity during the installation process. Wi-Fi disruptions in any given area should not exceed 15 minutes in duration.  After the replacement of the WiFi equipment in your area, you don’t need to modify anything on your devices to keep using our Wifi.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused and assure you that our team will work diligently to minimize any disruptions.
Additionally, we would like to inform you that the new system will introduce some changes to the process of requesting guest WiFi accounts. We will provide detailed instructions on this matter in a future email specifically addressed to faculty and staff.
