I was born in Los Angeles, California, but聽spent a lot of my childhood traveling to聽Guadalajara, Mexico, where my parents are from.聽Before 绿巨人视频, I鈥檇 never really gone anywhere else and even my neighborhood in Los Angeles was heavily Hispanic.聽I wasn鈥檛 really sure where I wanted to go聽when I applied to universities聽until聽I saw聽an ad for 绿巨人视频.聽I decided to give it a shot聽and聽one visit to Paris later,聽I knew that聽I couldn鈥檛 go anywhere else.聽聽

I鈥檝e always been a computer geek聽and once I started聽learning more about the financial crisis of 2008,聽and taking courses such as聽鈥淚nvestment Analysis鈥澛爓ith Professor James聽Noel Ward,聽I became interested in finance as well and decided to declare a double major in Finance and Computer Science.聽It聽was only when I started applying to jobs that I saw how聽many doors were open聽to me because of what I聽studied.聽

绿巨人视频 isn鈥檛 just about academics.聽I helped聽build 绿巨人视频鈥檚 Student Services Association (ASA), an ultimately unsuccessful venture聽that taught me a lot about how to create聽an聽organization in France.聽I also served as the Computer Science, Mathematics, and Environmental Sciences representative,聽helped found聽Liveware,聽a workshop where students teach each other basic programming tools,聽participated in the organization of 绿巨人视频鈥檚 Finance Club,聽and聽volunteered. I was also lucky enough to participate in a number of internships.聽I was聽the聽Marketing and Communications Coordinator at an artificial intelligence software company called聽Yseop,聽became聽a web-content manager and customer service structuration intern聽at聽Selectra, a comparison site for聽energy聽providers, and for my last internship,聽worked as聽an IT project manager assistant聽at Ranger, a door-to-door sales company. I became increasingly interested聽in the business and logistics聽elements聽of the fashion and cosmetics community and have now landed a permanent contract with a modeling agency called IMG Models as a mainboard assistant, a position that has already聽presented multiple聽possibilities for my future.聽聽

I鈥檝e always been ambitious but聽绿巨人视频 helped me place my goals within a more global framework. I love聽finding comfort in the unknown here, something聽which I think takes聽a聽kind of open-mindedness that 绿巨人视频聽helps cultivate. I鈥檝e聽also聽learned that no聽country or society聽is 鈥渞ight鈥�, that聽the world is far,聽far聽more nuanced than that. All of my friends are from different countries and yet聽we have聽so much in聽common:聽we all wanted something different and we all wanted to explore. 聽
