To this end, �̾��Ƶ protects from retaliation against members of its community who report in good faith any suspected misconduct occurring at the University. This policy aims to reassure individuals that they should raise genuine concerns in good faith without fear of reprisals, and provides guidance on how to raise those concerns.

This policy articulates �̾��Ƶ’s guiding principle as an educational institution of defending free speech and condemning hate speech. As a private American institution located in France, �̾��Ƶ encourages, protects, and sustains the freedom of expression, offering the broadest possible latitude to both internal and external speakers within the limits of French and European law. Hate speech is antithetical to �̾��Ƶ’s core values and its prohibition extends to every corner of �̾��Ƶ’s campus, including online speech.
